At The Edge Of Canada: Indigenous Research - Interview with Dr. Annemieke Farenhorst

Today our guest is Dr. Annemieke Farenhorst, Professor in the department of Soil Science in the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Science at the University of Manitoba. We discuss Dr. Farenhorst's nomination by the Woman's Executive Board as a Top 100 Woman in Canada for her incredible work with First Nations' communities and water research. Dr. Farenhorst is the Prairie NSERC Chair for Women in Science in Engineering and the Principle Investigator for a multi-million dollar NSERC research grant and the director of the Create H20 Program. Create is a one-of-a-kind research and training program for Indigenous scientists working in Indigenous communities. We also chat about the intersection of traditional knowledge and science.
