Mercury tainted soil found upstream of Grassy Narrows First Nation

On Jan.12, 2017, thestar.com reported that they and volunteers from the environmental group Earthroots found mercury contaminated soil upstream from the Grassy Narrows First Nation. The location they searched was based on information from retired mill worker Kas Glowacki.  They have presented their findings to people at the Province of Ontario, former ELA scientist Dr. John Rudd and Western University professor and Canada Research Chair in Environment and Sustainability, Brian Branfireun.
